The business, in one line

We are an insurance claims management franchise where ZERO insurance experience is required.

We help homeowners and businesses get the settlement they’re owed after fire, flood or storm damage. Full training and support included.

Never heard of claims management?

When a home floods at 2am, somebody has to fight the insurer. That somebody is you.

The insurance company sends a loss adjuster. The loss adjuster works for them. Your client gets one person on their side, a loss assessor, and the settlement they were actually owed.

01
01

The problem

A pipe bursts, a roof blows off, a kitchen catches fire. The homeowner has never made a claim before. They are stressed, out of their depth, and negotiating alone against an insurer’s expert.

02
02

Your role

You are appointed as their professional representative. Concept’s support team provide technical guidance to help you manage the client, the insurance claim and the repair through to completion.

03
03

Who pays you

Not the client. Your income comes out of the insurance settlement that funds the repair works. The policyholder pays only their excess, which is exactly why the service sells itself.

Loss adjuster vs. loss assessor: the whole business in one line

Loss adjuster

Appointed and paid by the insurance company. Their job is to settle the claim correctly. For the insurer.

Loss assessor: that's you

Appointed by the policyholder. Your job is to get them a full, fair settlement and their home properly repaired.

Why the demand is there

A £6.1 billion market that does not care about the economy.

Fires, floods, leaks and storms happen in recessions, booms and pandemics alike. UK property claims hit a record high in 2025, and every single policyholder is entitled to appoint professional representation.

The financials

How money actually reaches your account?

No selling to consumers on price. No chasing invoices. Your fee is built into the settlement the insurer pays to reinstate the property.

Step 1
Damage occurs, you’re appointed

A homeowner or business suffers fire, flood or storm damage and instructs you, at no cost beyond their policy excess.

Step 2
The claim is negotiated

Concept’s loss assessors scope the damage and agree the settlement figure with the insurer.

Step 3
Repairs are managed

Vetted contractors, appointed and managed with head office, reinstate the property.

Step 4
You get paid

Your margin is drawn from the settlement on completion. Fixed monthly fee to Concept, with no royalty on turnover.

Earning potential

What this business can pay you.

No selling on price, no chasing invoices, no cap on how far you scale it.

Growth here is uncapped. Add caseworkers and contractors as your territory matures, and the same fixed-fee structure keeps compounding in your favour.

Why it can’t be automated

Software can’t stand in a flooded kitchen, read a homeowner’s distress and negotiate their settlement face to face. This is one of the few local, relationship-led professions with no automation path.

The territory · Oxfordshire, OX1 to OX49

One of the UK's fastest-growing cities, and its property claims territory is unclaimed.

Oxford has the lowest owner-occupation of any local authority in the South East, the highest student population in England and Wales, and roughly one in five residents living in a house in multiple occupation. Add a county of period and listed stock across Banbury, Bicester, Didcot, Witney and Abingdon, and the claims volume is steady all year.

This territory is exclusively yours. No other Concept partner can trade in it.

Why Oxfordshire works for you

Four reasons demand keeps flowing in Oxfordshire.

53% rent
01

A county of landlords and renters

Oxford has the lowest owner-occupation of any South East local authority. Every buy-to-let landlord is a repeat client when escape of water or fire strikes a let property.

32,200 firms
02

A referral-rich business community

Letting agents, surveyors, plumbers and roofers all meet damaged properties before you do, and each one is a repeat introducer.

3,553/km²
03

England's densest student and HMO market

26.5% of Oxford adults are full-time students, the highest share in England and Wales, and around 3,000 licensed HMOs sit inside the city alone. Shared housing is a well-known driver of escape-of-water and fire claims.

Do I need experience in insurance or construction?

Concept’s partners come from sales, construction, management, the forces and corporate life. The technical knowledge is trained and supported. What can’t be trained is credibility in someone’s living room on the worst week of their year.

Most partners fund the franchise with a mix of personal capital and high-street bank lending, and we help prepare the business plan lenders ask for. The full investment breakdown and funding options are set out in the prospectus. Request it and our team will talk you through it.

No. Your income is drawn from the insurance settlement that funds the reinstatement works. The policyholder pays only their policy excess, which makes the service straightforward to explain and easy to say yes to.

Claims take weeks to months from instruction to completion, so year one is about building pipeline and local relationships. Published network estimates put year one revenue around £56,087, rising towards £100,552 by year three. These are estimates, not guarantees.

Nothing is, but demand here is driven by weather and property use rather than consumer spending. The network traded through the 2008 downturn and the pandemic, and UK property claims reached a record £6.1bn in 2025.

Home-based, with client visits across your territory. Low fixed overheads are a core reason the model converts a high proportion of turnover into profit.
A combination of national brand enquiries and digital marketing routed to your territory, plus the local referral network you build with agents, landlords and trades. Marketing support is included in the package.
It is currently unallocated. Territories are awarded one partner at a time, so availability is confirmed at the point of enquiry. Request the prospectus and we will confirm status for you.
