The property claims and repairs market has reached unprecedented heights, with year-to-date payouts totaling £4.1 billion, according to November 2024 data from the Association of British Insurers (ABI). This figure marks the highest amount paid out in the first nine months of any year on record, underscoring the increasing frequency and severity of incidents such as floods, burst pipes, fires, and storms.
