After launching Concept Claim Solutions (Hereford) in March 2025, franchisee Jonathan Woods has quickly established himself as a passionate advocate for customers navigating the home and commercial property insurance claims process.
His focus on professionalism, compliance, and customer care has laid strong foundations for the business. That journey became even more meaningful on 16th May 2025, when his son, Fin Woods (19), joined the business as an apprentice.
Fin has commenced a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration, combining structured learning with hands-on experience across the core operations of Concept Claim Solutions.
In his role, Fin supports the end-to-end insurance claims process, helping ensure claims are managed efficiently, fairly, and in line with regulatory standards. His responsibilities include assisting with customer communications, maintaining accurate records, and supporting internal workflow processes and systems.
Alongside administrative duties, Fin is developing essential professional skills, including structured business communication and stakeholder coordination with insurers and loss adjusters. He is also gaining practical on-site experience, which gives him a well-rounded understanding of how claims progress from initial notification through to resolution.
The pace and variety of the role have been a particular highlight for Fin:
“Every day is different, one day I’m organising claim documents and uploading survey photos, the next I’m visiting customers’ homes, and another day I’m helping on-site. I’m learning something new all the time.”
For Jonathan, welcoming his son into the business has added a further dimension to the franchise journey. Beyond building a successful operation, he is now mentoring Fin through the realities of professional life: responsibility, consistency, customer care, and the importance of doing things right.
