Since starting, Concept has gone from strength to strength and recently celebrated 22 years of success. We are a respected name within the insurance industry and are one of the fastest growing network’s in the UK.

Concept is part of the Insurance Solutions Group (ISG) which comprises of 7 companies, including a Loss Adjusting business that has been successfully trading for over 35 years and a national building repair network. 

Events such as Brexit and the Covid pandemic have seen a reduction in the number of available contractors. In response to the contractor shortage and increases in costs in 2021, Concept included the building repair service as part of the franchise operating model.

Using the Head Office repair service can save considerable time for a franchise partner. The contractors are paid when the works are completed, which significantly helps cash flow and enables franchise partners to manage a larger volume of work.

The anonymous survey was  conducted by WorkBuzz in February 2023 and shows how we’re performing from the perspective of our franchise partners. To achieve 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction, the results had to be above the franchising industry average in all six areas: Franchise System, Training and Support, Culture and Relationships, Leadership, Value & Rewards and General Satisfaction.

We have developed a ‘private work’ offering to customers.  After suffering property damage, some homeowners see it as an opportunity to improve their property and choose to have other work completed simultaneously as the insurance repair work to reduce inconvenience.

Cash Settlements

Occasionally, policyholders are just looking to receive a cash settlement and then arrange the repair works themselves once the local franchisee has managed the settlement negotiation on their behalf.  Our model accommodates this by charging a percentage based loss assessing fee, usually around 15% of the claim value.
